Double Up 4 Vision Event Info
The third annual Double Up 4 Vision bike ride and walk will take place on Saturday, October 13th 2012 at Hudson River Park's Pier 63--West 23rd Street & 12th Avenue, New York City.
The event will kick off with a 24-hour relay comprised of multiple tandem cycling teams consisting of one sighted "pilot" and one visually impaired "stoker". Each visually impaired rider has a compelling story about facing the challenges of vision loss and overcoming them. Registration for the 24-hour relay is limited! What: Double Up 4 Vision 2012 is a 10K Tandem Bike Ride and a 5K Walk
- We will pair people with and without sight to share the experience
- We will provide a tandem bike at the event
- Single cyclists are welcome
- The course can be modified to accommodate shorter rides and walks

Participant Check-in: 7:30AM
Ride/Walk Start Time: 9:00AM
Closing Activities: 11:00AM
